This course examines state-of-the-art 'omics technologies including next-generation sequencing, single cell genomics, proteomics, population genomics and systems modelling, and their application of infectious diseases. Students will learn about 'omics technologies and their application to infectious disease and discuss a variety of stem cell derived 2D and 3D cell and tissue models and their applications for studying human diseases and for pre-clinical drug development.
