IMM2000H: PhD Proposal in Immunology

This is a key course in the PhD in Fundamental Immunology program that will prepare students for their qualification exam. Working with their supervisor and supervisory committee, the student will develop a research plan for the remainder of their PhD work. This plan will outline the research aims, the proposed experiments, anticipated results, and alternative/mitigation strategies should those experiments not turn out as hypothesized. Writing the PhD proposal will follow an iterative process involving feedback and guidance from the supervisor, the course instructor, teaching assistants, and supervisory committee members. Students will also engage in peer review of proposal presentations.
