INF2248H: Advocacy and Leadership in the Information Profession

This course examines leadership and advocacy within the information profession. It focuses on the relationship between personal leadership and professional influence. Topics include advocacy strategies, how government decision-making processes work, and how professional and community groups engage in public policy discussions. The course also addresses influence within organizations and the profession, as well as the development of leadership competencies in professional contexts.

This course can be used to fulfil the “Managerial” Professional Requirement.
