KIN8430H: Advanced Exercise Physiology

This graduate-level course examines advanced concepts in exercise physiology, focusing on the integrative regulation of physiological responses and adaptations to acute and chronic exercise. Topics may include skeletal muscle metabolism, cardiovascular and respiratory physiology, endocrine and molecular responses, energy balance, exercise performance, and the role of exercise in health and disease and associated mechanisms. Students will critically evaluate current research literature and develop skills in scientific communication.
