MMF1915H: Introduction of Financial Products

This course will provide students with an introduction to global financial markets and risk management as well as an overview of basic financial securities including stocks, fixed income securities, financial derivative products like Forwards, Futures and Options, Swaps and Swaptions. Students will learn practical skills and explore benchmark indices used to measure portfolio performance and explore algorithms, rationale, and mathematical arguments to support the use of particular benchmarks.
