MMF2036H: Sustainability and Social Trends in Finance

Behavioural finance emerged in the last decade as an area of growth in the industry that has the potential to shed light on financial flows arising from human behaviour and to modify the way financial instruments are priced and traded. Coupled with technology innovations in large language models and our increased ability to measure collectives, this is an area where a new family of financial technologies could develop.

This course will address, on the one hand, the technical aspects of the topics, and on the other hand the impact of such models in financial situations.
