This course cover basics and classic concepts around G-protein coupled and expand into state-of-the-art studies, techniques, and approaches being currently used for the study of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs).

Students will understand the basic concepts of receptor pharmacology; the principles behind G-protein coupled receptor ligand binding and signalling via second messengers; and the basis of drug action via G-protein coupled receptors.
