An examination of a theme or themes in 17th-century European philosophy. Possible philosophers covered range from canonical figures such as Hobbes, Descartes, Spinoza, Malebranche, or Locke, to less commonly studied figures such as Margaret Cavendish or Gabrielle Suchon.
