Effective leadership is crucial for operational and organizational success in all settings, ranging from small community pharmacy practices or individual research groups to large multinational pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, or universities. Leadership skills can be nurtured and developed but require a grounding in psychological strength and self-belief that one can be a leader.
This course will introduce students to psychological foundations and practical skills and applications of effective leadership in organizations of all sizes. Students will have opportunities to interact with leaders from industry, consultancies, hospitals, and community pharmacy. Through interactive discussions, focused self-reflection, and skill-building activities, students will develop both awareness of and confidence in their own leadership abilities.
