In this course, students with be introduced to a variety of methods for evidence syntheses in the field of rehabilitation sciences. This will focus on systematic literature reviews and scoping/narrative reviews to frame students' research questions. Students will be taught systematic methods in order to be able to define a review question, develop effective search strategies, retrieve relevant evidence, review and critically appraise evidence gathered, synthesize the findings, and learn how to integrate evidence into research practice. This seven-week course will consist of faculty lectures and discussions. Students will apply the principles they have learned within the course to create research outputs relevant to their research program.
