LAW1009H: SJD Seminar — Year 3

The course, mandatory for third-year SJD students, will be offered bi-weekly between September and April and will be delivered by the Associate Dean, Graduate Programs. The seminar will operate on a workshop model centered on rigorous works-in-progress presentations and structured peer critique, facilitated by the Associate Dean, Graduate Programs.

Throughout the academic year, students will present research at successive stages of development — ranging from refined proposals and literature syntheses to draft chapters and portions of near-complete dissertation work. This design enables students to participate in, and learn from, their colleagues whose work will explore different areas of law and be at different stages of completion.
