MBP1404H: Introduction to Biomedical Research

This course introduces students to fundamental concepts and experimental strategies in biomedical research related to human pathogenesis, with a particular focus on cancer. The curriculum is organized into six thematic areas: genetics, cell signaling, imaging of cellular functions, molecular biology, disease models, and liquid biopsies. Emphasis is placed on developing a broad understanding across these domains rather than deep specialization within any one area. This module is intended for students who have not taken any previous biology courses
