This is a graduate-level course in Kant's theoretical philosophy (roughly, metaphysics, logic, and epistemology). Readings may be drawn from Kant's pre-Critical writings, as well as the Critique of Pure Reason, Prolegomena to Any Future Metaphysics, Metaphysical Foundations of Natural Science, and associated works (e.g., from Kant's Nachlass). Topics may include: the possibility of metaphysics, knowledge, cognition, intuition, experience, natural science, logic, and the mind. As appropriate, secondary literature will also be consulted.
