PSL4010Y: Mentored Literature Review Project in Physiology

By the end of this course, the student will have completed an in‐depth scholarly literature review, with individual one‐on‐one mentorship from a Physiology faculty member that will result in a publishable‐quality piece of written work. This written work can be on a current health challenge (i.e., obesity, stroke); topical experimental issues in Physiology that can impact clinical translation (i.e., use of both female and male animals/subjects); translation of new discoveries in Physiology to the clinic (i.e., the glucagon‐like peptides in diabetes or short bowel syndrome) etc., subject to general approval by the course director to ensure physiological context.
