REH1121H: Introduction to Qualitative Research

This is an introductory (lecture + seminar) course intended for master’s students interested in conducting qualitative research within the field of Rehabilitation Sciences. This course will equip students with foundational knowledge of various theoretical and conceptual frameworks within qualitative research, essential to designing their own qualitative research project. Weekly topics will cover foundations of qualitative methodologies and research designs as well as introducing key approaches to qualitative data collection and analysis. By the end of the course, students will be able to begin the process of formulating a qualitative research proposal related to the research question they wish to address with their master's thesis.
