Automotive-specific electronic packaging basics: printed circuit board layout fundamentals, thermal-, electromagnetic-, environmental-, and manufacturing compliance design. Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis in automotive electronics design.

Automotive electronics software: Embedded software: basic code design and code validation. Automotive product validation. Automotive communication platforms: PWM, LIN, CAN, SPI, etc. Software calibration basics.
