EAS1476H: Reading Marx’s Capital for Late-Developers

This seminar offers students a systematic reading of Marx's Capital, Volume 1, from two perspectives: the ontological analysis of time and the historical analysis of capitalist 'late-development.' In addition to reading Capital, we will also read texts by Heidegger, Althusser, Uno, Foucault, Lenin, Paul Virillio, Henri Lefebvre, and John Cage on (ontological and historical) time.
