DEN1832H: Medicine Practicum II

The objective of this course is to provide clinical experience in medicine for residents in dental anaesthesia. Residents complete a rotation in Team Medicine at the Department of General Internal Medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Residents briefly attend the Department of Dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital and/or the Department of Dental and Maxillofacial Sciences at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre to assess patients who experience chronic oral maxillofacial pain. Learners will apply their knowledge and clinical skills acquired from DEN1056Y, DEN1741Y, DEN1742Y, and DEN1831H.
