LMP2105H: Innovation in Assisted Reproductive Technology

This half-course introduces graduate students in the Clinical Embryology (CE) Field to innovations and controversies in ART. The students will utilize the fundamental and clinical knowledge they gained in previous ART courses to explore how innovative techniques are developed and assessed in the clinical practice of infertility. There will be a combination of didactic lectures, group seminars, and self-directed learning. The content will focus on areas of active research and innovation in ART. The lecturers in this course are experts in Reproductive Science and are at the leading edge of research and/or involved in delivering innovative, state-of-the-art care. This course highlights the successes, challenges, and ethical considerations of innovation in ART.
