Students will gain hands-on experience in the performance of medical and hospital autopsies under the supervision of pathologist assistants and autopsy staff pathologists. The course emphasizes active participation in case preparation, examination, and documentation, with students progressively developing confidence and independence in autopsy procedures. Through direct interaction with clinical faculty, students will develop a professional and intellectual approach to autopsy practice, including collaboration, critical thinking, and understanding the role of autopsy findings in patient care and pathology.
