LMP2005Y: Capstone Project in Laboratory Medicine

The goal of the course is to give students the opportunity to experience research. Students will apply the fundamentals of clinical research and the knowledge gained in MHSc Laboratory Medicine by completing a research project that is sound, ethical, feasible, unbiased, and clinically valuable. This is a 1.0 FCE course over 12 months. The time commitment from the student is estimated to be a minimum of 180 hours of contact and preparation time. This is approximately 6 hours per week when breaks and holidays are taken into consideration.
